Parallels

Parallel project depicts the integration of Ukrainian culture into the Canadian environment. Only that which has deep roots has powerful meaning; today it is important that whilst creating the new, we infuse it with the spirit and the strength of age-old cultural achievements. The contemporary world is rapidly developing and moving forward, but what remains the same is the feeling of aesthetic pleasure and beauty.

This project promotes the importance of the tapestry development in the modern world by creating textile artwork using traditional and experimental techniques.
