This project depicts the integration of Ukrainian culture into the Canadian environment. Only that which has deep roots has powerful meaning; today it is important that whilst creating the new, we infuse it with the spirit and the strength of age-old cultural achievements. The contemporary world is rapidly developing and moving forward, but what remains the same is the feeling of aesthetic pleasure and beauty.
Tapestry weaving, amongst other types of craft, is the carrier of a powerful source of living energy, which affects the environment and the viewer. Through the touch of the artist’s hand, the natural materials that are used, and the colossal power of the hundreds of hours of meditation that go into its making, this energy accumulates and is transmitted into the final piece. Thanks to this great energy, gobelin tapestries and textile collages are the beauty and highlight of any interior, be it a private residence or public space.
The purpose of this project is to promote the idea of the importance of the tapestry development in the modern world. Its focus would include the creation of these pieces (gobelin tapestries and textile collages), that will be presented in a modern virtual and accessible format, exploring both process and the final project.

Потужний зміст має тільки те, що має глибоке коріння.
Сьогодні важливо - створюючи нове, привносити в нього дух і силу багатовікових культурних надбань. Сучасний світ стрімко розвивається і йде вперед, але сталим залишається відчуття естетичної насолоди і краси. І саме гобелен, як один із видів рукотворного мистецтва, є носієм потужного джерела живої енергії, яка впливає на оточення і на глядача, через те, що створений уявою художника, теплом його рук і натуральними природніми матеріалами, колосальною силою багатогодинної медитації в процесі його виготовлення і т.д. Завдячуючи цьому величезному енергетичному згустку, гобелен-колаж є окрасою і родзинкою будь-якого інтер'єру, житлового чи соціального призначення.
Метою даного проекту є: утвердження ідеї важливості розвитку гобелену в сучасному Світі.
Проект передбачає створення полотен (гобеленів та колажів), які будуть представлені у сучасному віртуальному форматі, де можна буде побачити як процес, так і результат.
